Professor N. Ravichandran was visiting the Faculty for two weeks till 18th July 2014. He was mainly discussing the curriculum of the Department of Civil Engineering. Ravi graduated from the University of Peradeniya in 1997, where he was the batch-top for three years and obtained number of awards. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Clemson University in the USA. It was really good to get his review and comments line by line on the curriculum of the Department of Civil Engineering. He also conducted a talk to motivate the students of the Faculty of Engineering. It was a wonderful to have discussions with him especially on his advices on our curriculum and the teaching methods he followed in Clemson University.
