The orientation program for the second batch started on 1st December 2014 with an inauguration program. It was a very brief event with Senior Professor K. Kandasamy (represented the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna), Dean, Heads of the Departments and president of the students society and the students of previous batch. All the fresh students including few parents participated in the event. After the inauguration program all male students were given accommodation at two houses that are hired outside the University premises.
Female students were given the accommodation within the University premises. Scheduled free transport facility (a bus hired by the University for this purpose), is given to the students, who are staying outside the University premises.
