Professor Kanes K Rajah, who is the Royal Agricultural University Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, visited the Faculty of Engineering on 19th April 2016. Discussion with him by the Faculty staff, gave directions with Entrepreneurships. It was wonderful and very interesting discussions on how the Universities can be benefitted by giving their best services to the country. Further discussion extended to share some thoughts on how the outcome of the higher Education, especially through the Research and Development can be used to produce Entrepreneurs with Innovative ideas. It was planned to request him for a long stay visit for further development to get his directions to be implemented.
Prof Kanes Rajah was the Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at the Royal Agricultural University (2012-2015) where he is a Senior Professor now. Further he is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. He holds a Visiting Professorship at the Lacocca Institute, Lehigh University, USA and senior committee roles at universities in South Africa, Zimbabwe and India.
