A workshop was initiated by Mr. M. Kanapathipillai, who is former principal of the Royal College and Council Member of the University of Jaffna. This was organized by the Zonal Director of Education office of the Kilinochchi on 19th November 2016. Here the two Deans of the Faculties: Prof. (Mrs.) Thushyanthy Mikunthan – Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Prof. A. Atputharajah – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, together with Mr. M. Kanapathipillai conducted this workshop.
Here all the steps, which are required to prepare the 5 year strategic plan was discussed in brief with work sheets. The workshop was very well appreciated by the Principals. Finally the workshop was completed with the message on the follow up to be done by the principals and their team of teachers, who need to develop a five year plan, as a draft, and then to organize the next workshop to take it forward to the next level.
