The library of the faculty was established just together with the faculty in February 2014. The faculty curriculum is completely based on the Outcome Based Education (OBE). Therefore the lifelong learning and self-learning are most important items in the Faculty Education Systems. Students of faculty of engineering organized religious activities for Hindu, Buddhist, Christianity and Muslim students on 31st December 2016 and 1st January 2017. Purpose of the event was to bless the newly built engineering faculty and bless the students, academic staff and nonacademic staff at Kilinochchi premises of University of Jaffna.
