Students and staff of the Faculty of Engineering celebrated the Thai Pongal day on 14th January 2017. This was done front of new administration building, which was the new building of the Faculty. It was the first time celebration in front of new admin building. It started at 6.00am and finished 7.30am.
After that they have celebrated the Thai Pongal, in front of the Faculty of Technology, it was organized a cultural sport events. They have done very nice traditional decorations. Mr. Sampath headed the celebration organizational matters and attended all the events too. It was an excellent event mixing of all the students and from all the Faculties.
