The following students have been awarded Prof. Eliathamby Ambikairajah award for their best performance in semester exams at the special faculty board held on 20th September 2017. The selected students were excited about the award and expressed their sincere gratitude to Prof. Eliathamby Ambikairajah. They further said that such awards motivate them to excel in their studies.

Prof. Eliathamby Ambikairajah is the Head of School, Electrical Engineering & Telecommunications, University of New South Wales, Australia. He has been funding awards for the best performance and studentships for financially disadvantaged students since 2014. Total amount of Rs. 480, 000 has been offered to 12 students in years 2014, 15 and 16. This award scheme created tremendous motivation among the students for them to perform in their best. The faculty staff sincerely thank Prof. Eliathamby Ambikairajah for donating awards and studentships for the students of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna.
