This program was organized by Water Harmony Erasmus+ (WHE+), Water Harmony Eurasia ii (WHII) and Water Magic (WM) projects. Three students from University of Jaffna attended WHII, WHE+ and WM Masters Summer School courses at Oslo, Norway from 19th June till 7th July 2017: (1) Mr. Nirojan Kumaradevan, Master Student doing the research part at the Faculty of Engineering, (2) Mr. Vigneshwaran Vijayakanth, PhD Student at the Faculty of Engineering and (3) Mr. Kuddithamby Gunaalan, Lecturer, Department of Fishery, Faculty of Science. All these students attended from UoJ with the support from the WHE+ project of the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering University of Jaffna.
The Program was held at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and the University Centre in Svalbard. The NMBU course was THT 311 and it was a 10 ECTS (European Credits) course and UNIS offered THT 312 course and it was 5 ECTS course. The THT 312 course was on “Water Management in Cold Climate” and the THT 311 course was on “Water Resource Management and Treatment Technologies”. Mr. Nirojan and Mr. Vijayakanth are supported by the WaSo project. This program was one of the successful event of WaterH project of the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering University of Jaffna.
