A full day workshop was held with the staff from the Faculties of Science, Engineering and Technology of the University of Jaffna in 3rd July 2017. This was held at the Faculty of Science starting from 9:30am till 4:00pm. This is to develop the curriculum for starting a Master Degree Program in Clean Energy Technologies. This was funded by the Norwegian Partnership Program for Global Academic Cooperation (NORPART) as part of the Higher education and Research collaboration on Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Technologies (HRNCET). This was headed by Professor V. Dhayalan (coordinator of the HRNCET project from Norway HVL) and Professor P. Ravirajan (coordinator of the HRNCET project from the Sri Lanka University of Jaffna). Here all three faculties (Science, Engineering and Technology) Deans, Heads, Professors and Senior Lecturers participated. This is targeted to provide real knowledge including project development and implementation on clean energy technologies at the postgraduate level.
