Dr. Nadarajah Manivannan visit to the Faculty of Engineering on 11th August for a discussion on possible collaboration. Dr. Manivannan is from the Brunel University London and few possible postgraduate education were discussed. He visited to the laboratories to see the facilities. In the discussion the Faculties of Engineering, Technology staff members were participated.
Dr Manivannan is currently a Lecturer for electronics, computer languages and embedded systems in the Design Department at Brunel University. Dr Manivannan received his doctorate degree (DPhil) in optical pattern recognition from department of engineering science, the University of Oxford, UK, in 1997 and his bachelor’s degree {BEng (Hons)} with first class Hons in electrical and electronic engineering from the City University, London, UK in 1994. He then worked for Motorola, Symbian Ltd and Open Trade Technologies Ltd; mainly in Computer Modelling/ Software development for scientific applications. He then spent some good time in teaching electronics and maths at further education colleges at undergraduate level in UK before joining Brunel University as a researcher in 2009. Dr Manivannan is a senior member of IEEE, senior member of APCBEES and member of Electrostatics Society, USA.
