Dr. B. Ketheesan and Mr. D.S. Sampath attended Training Workshop on Science & Technology of Compatible Reverse Osmosis (RO) System Design, Maintenance & Servicing on 11th Aug 2017 at Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya. This was funded by WaSo project of University of Jaffna.
The certificate awarding ceremony was held on 3rd August 2017. Dr. B. Ketheesan had been in-charge of the Water quality laboratory in Singapore. It was a very important and essential aspect, that he was able to be with us and to share his views. The participation of Dr. B. Ketheesan in this program as Chief Guest and his address to the student on Water Management and its importance created an awareness among the students. He also expressed that conducting such awareness program in the society will create an awareness among the people to bring about the change.
Workshop organized by Cap-Net Lanka and offered by Board of Study in Agricultural Engineering, Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya. Objective of the workshop was to disseminate the science of RO & to transfer the compatible technology to the water sector experts for reducing the cost of producing safe drinking water in the CKDu affected areas.
