Professional Experience

Mrs K. Saranja is a Lecturer (Probationary) at Department of Inter-Disciplinary Studies, Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna since December 2023. She obtained her B.Sc. (Eng) degree in the field of Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa in Year 2018 with the First Class Honours. She had possessed five years of experience as a Structural Engineer in reputed structural design firms in Sri Lanka from February 2019 to November 2023, prior to her appointment at University of Jaffna.

Obtained Special award for Academic Excellence in Civil Engineering for the 2^nd highest Overall GPA of 3.7 and above at the B.Sc. Engineering Degree Examination for the academic year 2017/2018 at University of Moratuwa.
Dean's list awardee for semesters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8.

Mrs. K. Saranja engaged in advanced structural design, modelling, analysis, and research for the following projects during her employment as Structural Engineer.
